Once I move from GP I need to decide on what antennas to use for my new QTH, and am very keen to try out the BKW. I must manufacture one
You might recall that while visiting Struisbaai recently I used a portable end-fed and had great experience using just 1W to anywhere in SA. The location must have a lot to do with it, probably a lot of salt water in the ground?
I don't know if my new neighbors will allow me to erect a vertical. I'll suss it out when I get there, but at least I am fairly confident the end-fed will work. It's practically invisible, which of course is important nowadays.
The antenna is the only connection a transceiver has to the world. It is a vital component, which I guess we should focus more effort on.
A new life awaits you Anthony, I hope you are collecting boxes. But yes I will miss your QSO's however from there on 20m most likely we can stay in contact.
